This beautifully crafted wooden board with 5 sliders will delight your pre-schooler and ensure that learning all about numbers will be a fun journey.
The garden ‘friends’ all need to be counted. Choose one of the twenty large garden pictures – children now need to count how many of each they see :
- Ladybirds
- Bees
- Caterpillars
- Birds
- Snails
After each type of garden friend is found, your child will move the wooden slider on the counting board to show the number found. Once all the sliders have been moved, turn the card over to view the answers and compare that to your completed board.
We LOVE that the caterpillars aren’t all identical – some are green, some pink with tiny purple flowers on their body but ALL are friendly with great big smiles! Some bees are flying, others have settled on a flower . . . so children develop visual discrimination to establish that it’s the same insect although it looks a little different.
A delightful, beautifully crafted product we recommend.
